God’s saving power is manifested for the believer: spirit, soul and body. It is for the total person! The Greek word sozo is translated for salvation, healing, deliverance and provision. It means: To preserve or rescue from natural dangers; to bring out safely from mortal dangers; save from death, sickness and demonic possession or oppression; to keep and preserve in good condition; to thrive and to prosper. Deliverance will be manifested when we allow ourselves to come to a place where we are pliable in God’s hand. Bondage is the manifestation of defiance against God. Deliverance is the manifestation of submission to God.
