What do you think of when you think of the threshing floor? The most common images usually have to do with the crushing of wheat and so we think of a place of judgement. That is certainly seen in Scripture. But could there be more? Yes! The threshing floor is also a place of separation, a place of sacrifice, a place of worship, a place of provision and blessing and a place where the Bride recognizes the Bridegroom. We all need a to spend some time on the threshing floor.
