As Creator, God has ultimate rulership over the earth. In the Garden, He placed man as caretaker of the created order, that His glory might be spread throughout the world. At the fall, man surrendered the rulership over the created order to the serpent. Because of this, sin and death entered the natural realm and the created order stop yielding to its rightful caretaker, mankind. In Christ, God satisfied the debt of sin and returns rulership over the created order to born again, spirit filled, vested disciples of Jesus Christ.
